# Promotion expands Breckley's Role at Columbia

Columbia ParCar Corp. today announced the appointment of Scott Breckley to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Breckley will lead Columbia's sales, marketing, supply chain, product engineering, quality and technical support efforts. Most recently, he served as Columbia's Vice President of Sales and Marketing and brings nearly 35 years of experience in the specialized vehicle industry to his new role. Prior to joining Columbia, Breckley was President of Legend Electric Vehicles, successor to the country's first, task-oriented electric vehicle manufacturer; which was acquired by Columbia in 1999.
"It is with great excitement and anticipation of success that we announce the promotion of Scott Breckley to Chief Operating Officer for Columbia ParCar." said Todd Sauey, Columbia's CEO and Chairman of the Board. "Scott's history with the company and experience in the industry will assure Columbia's continued growth."

"The future for pure electric vehicles has never been brighter. Columbia stands alone at the crossroads of evolving technology and increasing market acceptance with our unmatched experience. Breckley has already assumed his role as Chief Operating Officer and is actively working to help Columbia capitalize on its recent organizational restructuring which included an increase in senior engineering staff to facilitate the company's new product development strategy.
