Payloader - expanded operator seating

Southwest Material Handling had a special vehicle request made by the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Convention Center has several employees that are taller than the average driver and they found that they didn't have ample leg room in the vehicles. They requested a seat adjustment to accommodate these drivers.

Columbia built this special vehicle using the Payloader BC2 2 passenger flat bed platform. They installed an adjustment on the seat that will allow the seat to move 6 additional inches back to accommodate both the tall and average drivers. Several different manufactures were contacted regarding the special vehicle and Columbia was the only manufacturer that was able to fulfill the request. When the vehicle was test driven by the taller employees at the Convention Center, it brought tears to one employees eyes because now he could travel throughout the Convention Center in comfort.
